On crafts… on life… An update

So, I took a bit of a break from blogging there. Did you miss me? Don’t answer ;)
Just while having a week of getting used to not working. But I am back. Here’s a little report of what I’ve been up to – involving many different crafts. (Yay!)

Finished my mini book that I began last weekend… Fun!
Deets to follow in a post of their own.

Only made one card… Running out of double-sided tape did not help the papercrafting process generally, so by the time I bought a fresh supply I didn’t have as much time for card making as I’d hoped.
Christmas card1A good start towards the Christmas cards. Well, a small start anyway.
Me likey though, using new paper from the Authentique 6×6 pad ‘Wonder’.

Continued knitting my new scarf…

Using delicious sock yarn by Laughing Yaffle, called ‘Autumn Glories’. And this pattern (a freebie), discovered via Pinterest. Which is not shown to its best in my photo, sorry.

On a similar theme, continued stroking delicious new yarn…

And in “life” news…
Finally arranged for the builder to come and fit our mantleshelf…
Had a haircut (bravery!)…
Replaced an exploding kettle. Yikes. Can’t be coping without a functioning kettle, you know.

Back with more crafty goodness tomorrow – I made another card last night but still need to photograph it.
Until then, take care crafty pals, Rx
