Getting organised? And Thankfulness

Hi all. How’s tricks? Good I hope.
No crafting to report today but I thought I’d stop by anyway.

I’ve been stewing (for a little while now) over how to improve the organisation situation in my crafty zone. I don’t have a great deal of space really – a shared room that is our study/ library/ home office and craft room all in one. I’m thankful for what I do have but I can’t help feeling that I need to organise it better to make the most of it and make the most of my crafting. Know what I mean?
Well, to help the quest, this week I bought one of those over-the-door shoe storage thing-a-majigs, with the see-through pockets so I hope that keeping a few things here (and out of the way off the craft desk!) might help ;)

Check it, and please excuse the *terrible* lighting. Nightime photoshoot in artificial light means a yellow glow reminiscent of Halloween!…
over-door craft storage

I got it online from Tszuji – good value and fast delivery – and have spent a couple of hours having a bit of a tidy and sort in the crafty zone over the past few evenings.
Fun. Well, theraputic might be a better word.

In other news, I am feeling very grateful today. I’ve also had a quick drop by a few blogs tonight, and now that Halloween is past, there’s a little feel of Thanksgiving-craft in the air. Not a holiday that we celebrate this side of the Pond of course, but still it allows me a little time to be thoughtful and grateful for our blessings.
Home… health… family… friends…. good jobs… tidy craft spaces (well, I’m still working on that one, haha!)
Here are a couple of cute Thanksgiving ideas I’ve spotted that I thought I’d share with you – inspiring no?
What a cute CAS idea from queen of CAS, Cristina
Lea made a bright and happy card to leave any recipient feeling thankful

Such a long day… off to bed now.
See you tomorrow with a card to share, plus other crafty news
