Lawnscaping challenge – fruit inspiration

Still feeling grim but wanted to upload this card that I made on Saturday to the Lawnscaping challenge #22 before the deadline closes.
So its another flying visit from me….

Here’s the inspiration:

Lawnscaping challenge 22 inspirationI love the dish of apples in the pic and it totally made me think of apple pie and homely baking goodness… Yum.

I made this little kitcheny scene with some new Crate Paper goodies and of course a bit of Lawn Fawn stamping too.
The patterned paper to make the tablecloth is from Crate Paper ‘Farmhouse’ 6x6in pad. Including the pleated paper ruffle. I could use a cute fruit-patterned tablecloth like that myself.
And the pie chipboard embellishment is also from the Farmhouse collection.

I did a spot of stamping… some steam rising from the pie, and a bunch of blooms for the table setting – both using Lawn Fawn ‘Petite Florals’.
Its the only LF set I have (sadly!)
The steam is a bit of one of the swirls from the set, and I love that cute ‘rolled’ rose.

And I fussy cut picture frames for the wall from a 12×12 sheet of Amy Tangerine paper ‘Hanging Out’ by American Crafts. I knew those frames would make cute journaling spots and the like, so it hit my cart as soon as I saw it!

That’s all folks. Thanks for visiting and for your comments – I appreciate each and every one! Rx

Good luck in the Lawnscaping challenge. The inviting scene you created is so cute. Using the swirl as steam is a clever idea!
