Sketch-on-Saturday SOS32 – thank you card

Hi there
Hope you are ok and set for a good weekend (phew, I am ready for mine! How can just four days back to work after the hols really be so tiring??!)

Anyhoo, I have managed to finish off the last of my Christmas thank you cards this morning with the help of a sketch I came up with last night.

The paper is from a stack by First Edition Paper ‘Hideaway’ and has luscious glitter accents. I couldn’t resist tracking down a couple of pads by this manufacturer when I first saw them a few months ago. Lots of glittered sheets, tons of great patterns and the pad must be 2 or 3 times the thickness of other 6x6pads, jam-packed with good quality papers. I was really impressed but just haven’t had chance to use it yet, thanks to the festive crafting that made me put this one on hold!!

Anyway, the stamp is a cling by Hero Arts ‘Outline Magnolia’ (CG193) which I coloured and blended with my watercolour pencils. Popped up on foam pads.

And I die cut a cute tab (My Favourite Things ‘Bracket Tab’) which I picked up from Dies to Die For here in the UK – great supplier for MFT!), stamping the greeting from a clear set by WOW ‘Gratitude’ (STAMPSET2).
I accented it with my pencils too:

That’s all for now then folks – thanks for stopping by and for your lovely comments of course ;)
Let me know if you play along with my sketch… I’d love to see!
Hugs, Rx

Ruth, I’m so glad you said hi over at Catered Crop. It gave me the excuse to come over and look around a bit. I love, love your site. It’s so fun and so current. Your projects are adorable. Yes, I’m diggin’ all the Chevrons!
