Last night I had chance to do a spot of creating in my crafty den – or maybe should I say nest, for all the chaos of bits and pieces strewn about and layered on top of each other?!!! Like a magpie has gathered all manner of whatnot from everywhere and just woven it all together, haphazardly!
Anyhoo… I wanted to make a card for a friend and get down to a good bit of stamping and layering! See….
In fact, now I’m coming to blog about it I am realising this card shuld probably win some kind of award for the most products featured from different manufacturers. It’s a real mish-mash of designers, all come together in one collage
Me likey though! And I very much hope my friend that I’m sending this to will as well – we haven’t caught up in a while and it’s overdue, so I hope with this invitation, we can fix up some gossip-time!
Speaking of those products, here’s a bit of a run-down…
Card blank – well that was cardstock from the LSS… as were all the adhesives and foam pads, so you can’t count those
Patterned paper – American Crafts ‘Amy Tangerine – Hanging Out’ (reverse)
Birdie and ticket ephemera, button – October Afternoon ‘Sidewalks – Miscellany’
Linen thread to tie button – DMC
Kraft journaling spot – Jillibean Soup
Alpha stickers – Pink Paislee. And there wasn’t a question mark in the set so I used Letraset for that.
Dressform die and stamp – My Favourite Things ‘Sew Nifty’, diecut and stamped using Versamark
Gems – Kaisercraft
Twine – Divine Twine from The Ribbon Girl
Phew, got all that?! Ha! I think it’s a record. And I wasn’t even trying – I just got creative and enjoyed going with the flow. Fun.
What’s the most manufacturers you’ve ever managed to combine? Maybe it could be a challenge – I’m throwing down the gauntlet. What do you think? Let me know coz it could be something fun to try
Meanwhile I have the day off today so I need to finish just a few more chores and then I might get another card made before the light fades. Fingers crossed, Rx
