Sketch-on-Saturday SOS38 – wedding wishes

Hi all
It’s been a bit of a mad day here at justsomestuffimade-HQ… Sadly no time to craft today becuase we were out for most of it, enjoying events for the annual Bath Literature Festival. Some great speakers.

Anyways, I am back to share a sketch and card I made to celebrate the wedding of another couple of friends, who got married today.
It’s not so often I get to make wedding congrats cards these days, so this is nice ;)

Here’s the sketch-

Sketch-On-Saturday card idea SOS38I used patterned card to make a square card blank and added a machine-stitch border (which doesn’t show up too well in my pics…. nice for texture though)….

I stamped the silhouette bride and groom from the Cornish Heritage Farms cling stamp set – it was a great buy that I was lucky enough to be able to buy direct from Kim Hughes (the designer) herself as these are no longer available. Kim is no longer a designer for CHF – now she’s gone on to great things with her own company Paper Smooches – but I won her draw to buy this fabby wedding set.

I embellished with a cluster of pretties and decided to put the greeting inside:

Love the elegant hand-writing look ;)

Hope the happy couple will like it.
Meanwhile, thanks for stopping by – I’ll have a couple more cards to share tomorrow I hope as I’m planning a good sesh in my crafty zone, hehe! Take care, Rx
