Flower stamped sketch idea

Hi there and here’s a Sketch-on-Saturday idea I’m sharing – a card for SOS#44

Sketch-on-Saturday card idea sketch SOS44And here’s my card – which I’ve created to enter into the Catered Crop “B is for Bodacious” challenge.
ETA: I forgot to also add that am entering this into the DoYouStackUp challenge to Use a Flower (DYSU#71):

Sketch card SOS44 Catered Crop challenge Hero Arts flower stampUsing a big old flower stamp – cling Hero Arts ‘Outline Magnolia (CG193)‘ – for the “B”… a BLOOM!

I stamped, watercoloured and fussy-cut it and it’s layered over a panel and strips of patterned papers. I off-set it on my card front like the circle in the sketch, so I trimmed away the excess overhanging the card edge.

And the ‘so sweet’ garden-style planting tag is from American Crafts ‘Gardenia’ collection.

Bye for now and see you again soon, Rx

The yellow card base is wonderful behind the big pink flower! Your little sign is really adorable too!!! It’s great being able to use up scraps and end up with a beautiful card! :)
