Hi there bloggy pals,
Another happy mason jar-themed card, for my Trend-Alert Tuesday card today.
It uses some of the fabby mason jar patterned paper (‘Chile Paste’) from the Jillibean Soup ‘Coconut Lime Soup’ collection….
I fussy cut a few jars and cut a few extra of the matching lid toppers. I tied a bit of stranded cotton twine around the lids and popped them up on foam pads for a 3D touch. They all line up on a ‘shelf’ made from a punched strip of kraft card – Fiskars border punch ‘Threading Water’.
One of the jars is an ‘unlidded’ one, which I cut out to add a flower
I cut a slit in the top of the jar with my craft knife to thread through a length of green stranded cotton for a flower stem, also threading on a tag diecut for the sentiment.
The flower head is made with a paper bloom and centred with a Jillibean Soup diecut ‘Dutch Mustard Soup’ - same as the tag
All topped off with a gem.
I added another cutout jar with heart sticker to the envelope for a matching decoration.
I had to stay at work a bit extra tonight so I’m a bit late making and uploading this one. Still, I’m chuffed with how it turned out, so it was worth it
Bye for now, Rx
