Hi again peeps – back with a fun card I made to send to a pal.
I was inspired by this week’s sketch over at My Favourite Things blog: MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge MFTWSC80:
Here’s my card-
I use a digi stamp Pure Innocence (from Heather Ellis’ store) – she’s super sweet, coloured and paper pieced.
The patterned papers are from Basic Grey ‘PB&J’ 6x6pad, except for the big background panel on the card which is from Authentique ‘Splendid’ 6×6.
Plenty of scuffing and inky-edge distressing, and the focal piece is cut and layered with circle and scallop circle Nesties (which suited my cute girly better than the rectangle layer of the sketch). And then accents are added with tabs of petrol blue lace, green twine, and a greeting tag layered up and topped off with a pearl.
Bye for now folks, Rx
PS. Are you a crafter who diecuts with a Silhouette? I’m not – nothing so high-tech here I’m afraid, haha – but my bloggy pal Jackie is setting up a new challenge blog for Silhouette fans, so I thought I’d mention it in case you hadn’t already heard…
Check it out – with Jackie at the helm, it’s sure to be inspiring!
