Hi there – here’s another Christmas idea I made today – YAY!
This one squeezed in under the wire for the challenge over at One Crazy Stamper, for their Sept challenge: ‘use colours red, black and kraft’. Fun!
I used my Waltzing Mouse Stamps again for this one (Claire’s designs just blow me away!) and especially when I can get creative and get even more mileage from non-festive images… like this heart motif. Which is To, Die, For.
But from the set ‘Nordic Spring’ and not at all Christmassy. Until you stamp it in red (actually second generation stamped for a softer look) and put it on a Christmas card that is, ha! OMG – too cute!
I layered in onto a kraft card, with black cardstock panel (by Inspire Me, fab texture – look in this next pic as the light catches it!) and a bit of left-over doily from my last card.
A strip of new Lily Bee chevron paper (‘Christmas Cheer’ line) plus button-ribbon-twine-combo embellishing and an October Afternoon sticker… it’s all good.
I added a Christmassy message sticker inside too, but like a doofus I forgot to take a pic. Ah well, sorry bout that.
Love how it all turned out though – fun challenge to play along with
See you soon crafty pals – I’m hoping to do a bit more towards my Campaign to Use Up Scraps tomorrow! Rx
