Well I have been having some fun in the crafty zone this week, but very little fun trying to photograph my makes. ARG….
Apart form finding the camera out of battery-juice, then the light being too terrible to describe… well.. you get the picture. Bad pun. In fact, you only get an appalling picture.
Brace yourselves people:
I made this earlier this week for the lovely CAS(E) this sketch, challenge 12, but managed to miss the deadline for blogging it, thanks to the battery trauma. Ah, well.. I needed to post it to my pal today so I have had to bite the bullet and can’t wait for a sunnier day any more.
I thought the sketch was fun though- I just kept it simple and plain with the soft grey and kraft, then using knotted green twine for the verticals.
The butterfly is stamped from Hero Arts ‘Antique Engravings’ – I still love this set. A lot. Just a litle watercolour to pick up on the green accent. Jillibean alphas for the sentiment.
I am hoping for a little brighter weather tomorrow to photograph another make… Fingers crossed.
Meanwhile, I am off to watch Borgen. Byeee, Rx
