Here’s another of my Easter cards – I’m entering this one into a couple of challenges too :-
The patterned paper was a scrap left over from another card (very pretty and with glittery accents, so I think it was maybe from one of my First Edition 6×6 pads), and I used the lovely springtimey garden themed découpage image for the focal panel.
It’s a new design collection from Papermania, called ‘Home to Nest’ and there are some sweet birdie designs and gardening ideas in the pack – I’m not sure if it’s available in the shops just yet, but I have had a sneak peak as I was commissioned to do a set of cards using the pack for a magazine (Quick Cards Made Easy, issue 114).
The mag isn’t out yet for a few weeks, so I can’t share the cards I’ve made for it, but this was a leftover découpage piece after I’d finished my commission – too lovely not to use!!!
Look at that fabby dimension and layering…
All finished off with an ancient ribbon rose, and various pearls and pearl-effect brads… The inspiration over at Creative Belli to use some old embellishments was too good to miss! I’d forgotten how pretty these brads are (My Mind’s Eye, ‘Follow Your Heart’, I think??)
Then a greeting with a scalloped shape from can’t-remember-where, layered up with a circle-cut Nestie and sticker ABC (new Basic Grey).
Fun! Thanks for stopping by, Rx
