Card challenge – speech bubbles

Hi there again ;)
So I headed back to the craft den yesterday, and did quite a bit of tidying and sorting (very cathartic!) and managed to fit in some creative time too…

Here’s a card I made inspired by Nat’s challenge over at Kool Kitty Musings, her 52 Card Challenge #39: Use Speech Bubbles

speech bubble card typewriter stamping challengeI used the embossing folder ‘Strictly Christmas – Oval Flourish’ by Papermania, shabbied up with Distress Ink, for my background and then planty of layered bits-and-bobs on this one… There’s a lace scrap, a stamped and fussycut typewriter (October Afternoon), of course the speech bubble – its a diecut journaling spot from Pink Paislee…
I like that the edges of the cloud shape are all glittered – maybe you can just see that in my next photo (but the light was so bad yesterday afternoon when I was taking this, sorry)??

Plus a punched butterfly (MarthaS), the sentiment (Jillibean Soup) and a few gems and enamel dots to finish off…

Wow, great fussy cutting on that typewriter. :D I would not have had the
patience, I’m too much of a lazy bones and rely on my die collection
    these days. hehe Fab card!
