Father Christmas card

Hi all
Phew I have been really busy getting more Christmas cards made, but that’s meant hardly any time to photograph and blog them :(
I will have to treat you to some multi-card posts with mostly pics and less of the chatter, I think to help get caught up with the inspiration around here! Fingers crossed, if I can get my act together!

But here is one I made and am entering in the new challenge at Unstampabelles #30 – Christmas, but no stamping

Christmas card challenge inspiration chipboard embossing textureI dug out one of my Christmassy embossing folders (Sizzix) for texture and instead of a stamped image went for this Santa Claus chipboard topper, popping it up on foam pads.
All together  with some festive paper (Authentique) and a big old red bow, it makes for a fab festive idea.
I wasn’t sure when I was making it about what I was going to do with my sentiment, as it was looking like it would clash with the ‘pattern’ EF and/ or the patterned paper, but then I switched plan and used a skinny sticker (Simple Stories) on the ribbon itself – perfect ;)

Bye for now then crafty peeps, thanks for stopping by and for your comments as ever ;) Rx
