Christmas crafting underway

Hello crafty pals, hope you are well and that you’ve not been too struck by the awful weather lately… whether stuck in a polar vortex or battered by the gales and flooding here in the UK, I hope everyone is staying safe, warm and dry!!!

I’ve had time for some fun craftiness this weekend so that is a *good* thing!
A little more scrapbooking on my Italy 2012 holiday album (over half-way now, so you can look forward to seeing those pages in the coming weeks, I hope!) and I squeezed in a festive make too. All thanks to the inspiration I found this week over at a new-to-me challenge blog.
A crafty blogger who I follow in my feed, Kay, is guest designing for them this week, so I stumbled upon the Merry Monday challenge through her – what fun!

This week’s it’s…. Merry Monday #90 – use ribbon or twine on your Christmas card.

Merry Monday Christmas card challenge MM90 ribbon twine Simple StoriesNo stamping on today’s card – I went for fun layering of some rustic country-look bits on kraft, with a bingo card and tag sticker by Simple Stories. I created extra dimension by putting the sticker on cream card and fussy-cutting it so I could pop it up on foam pads. then a bow of rustic twine (SU) and muted green button (OctAfternoon) top it off.

See you laters alligators… I’m off to the crafty den again today as I have a couple more cards to make – a new baby card for my brother-in-law and sister-in-law who had a little girl yesterday, and also a birthday for one of my cousins. Will share those soon! Rx
