Festive card fun

Hi there crafty peeps – happy weekends all round ;)

Managed to fit in another make and get a quick pic this morning…
It’s a festive one for the current challenge over at Festive Fridays FFC24 – check out the gorgeous inspiration pic:

Festive Friday inspiration card challenge FFC24And Nat’s prompt for this week’s 52 Card Challenge – wk6 is to use stash from one collection, so since one of my Christmas pressies last year was the fabulous Pink Paislee ‘Snow Village’ pack, perfectly coordinating with the FF pic, I made this:

Christmas card challenge Festive Friday FFC24 Pink Paislee Snow VillageIt was only right to start with a kraft card and shabby it up (Distress Ink ‘Tea Dye’), like that box of baubles. All the fancy bauble shapes and pine bough prints in this collection are fab, so it was ideal – layering a doily, paper, vellum and gold-foiled ephemera pieces, chip sticker, twine and cord, plus a brad plenty of sequins…
Love how the gold accents echo the accents in the inspiration decorations.

So only the doily, twine, cord and sequins (Studio Calico) aren’t from the Snow Village collection ;)

See you then, hope you get some crafty time soon! Rx

Very nice Ruth! Really like the elements of the Pink Paislee collection you’ve used, what a lovely pressie!
