Happy Father’s Day – card idea

Hi all
Hope you are good and have been enjoying some crafty time ;)

Here’s a quick share of the card I made for my FIL – perfect to celebrate Father’s Day with something classic and unfussy…

fathers day card inspiration stamping one-layerSome (almost) on-layer stamping – the background block design is a woodblock stamp (unlabelled) which I’ve had in my stash FOREVER.. and hardly ever used. Can’t think why!
Over-layered with the fern stamp, Penny Black ‘Verdant’ – using the rock n roll technique in two green shades, plus some little chalky tan accents on the leaf tips, but sadly, it’s not showing up too well in my pic.
Finished off with a bit of SU twine.

I’m entering this into the following challenges:

Penny Black Saturday challenge, June – Boys, Boys, Boys
Inkspirational – Clean and Simple, #58
The Male Room – Father’s Day

All good. Hope the rest of your weekend is fun, crafty pals! Rx

I do like the soft background and the lovely vine image. Thanks so much for playing along with The Male Room!
